Pottery31 functional and decorative pieces are made from stoneware, a clay that when fired to maturity becomes a sturdy, chip resistant material suitable for use in cooking, baking, storing liquids, as serving dishes or as decorative pieces. Our pottery is durable and is meant to be used, but because it is hand-decorated each piece can be placed around the house to enjoy.
Stoneware pottery distributes heat efficiently for even baking
and browning. The pottery can be used in the microwave
and the oven. It can also be used on the barbecue provided it is not used over direct heat.
All of the pottery is glazed with a dishwasher and food safe glaze.
